Outdoor power equipment is a category where counterfeit units, grey-market imports and returned goods resold as new are a genuine risk to buyers. Peaulon is an authorized retailer, and every product we ship is new, genuine and covered by a valid warranty. This page explains what that means and how you can verify it.

Our Commitment

  • Every unit we sell is sourced from the manufacturer or from an authorized US distributor. We do not buy from liquidators, auction lots, grey-market importers or third-party marketplaces.
  • Every unit is brand new in its factory-sealed carton. We do not sell refurbished, reconditioned, open-box, customer-return or display units.
  • Serial numbers and data plates are intact and untouched. We never remove, obscure or alter a serial number, model plate or safety label.
  • Every unit ships with the manufacturer’s own manual, hardware kit, safety documentation and warranty paperwork.
  • Units are built to US specification, with correct voltage, correct emissions compliance and correct safety interlocks for the US market.

Why It Matters on This Product Category

A counterfeit or grey-market mower is not just a cosmetic issue. It typically means an engine built to a different emissions standard, safety interlocks that do not meet US requirements, a data plate that no manufacturer will recognise for a warranty claim, and parts that no dealer can source. On a pressure washer it can mean a pump rated well below the pressure printed on the housing. On a shed it can mean panel gauges thinner than the specification and a roof that will not carry a snow load. You will usually find out at the worst possible moment.

How to Verify Your Purchase

  1. Check the seller. Genuine Peaulon products are sold only at peaulon.com. We do not operate stores on Amazon, eBay, Walmart Marketplace, Temu, AliExpress, Facebook Marketplace or any other platform, and we have no dealers or resellers. A listing anywhere else using our name or images is not us.
  2. Check the carton. It should arrive factory-sealed with manufacturer branding, a printed model and serial label, and no signs of having been opened and retaped.
  3. Check the data plate. The serial number on the unit must match the number on the carton label and on your packing slip.
  4. Check the paperwork. Genuine units include the manufacturer’s manual with correct English text, a safety data sheet where applicable, and warranty registration details.
  5. Ask us. Email your serial number to info@peaulon.com and we will confirm in writing that the unit was sold by Peaulon and is covered by warranty.

Signs of a Counterfeit or Grey-Market Unit

  • A price far below every other seller for the same model
  • A missing, scratched-off, handwritten or mismatched serial number
  • Misspelled brand names, poor print quality on labels, or a manual with broken English
  • A plug or voltage rating that does not match US standards
  • Missing safety decals, guards or interlock switches
  • No warranty documentation, or warranty documentation naming a service centre outside the US

Report a Counterfeit or an Unauthorized Seller

If you find a seller using the Peaulon name, logo, product photography or copy, or you believe you have received a counterfeit unit, email info@peaulon.com with the listing URL or seller name, screenshots, and photos of the product and its labels if you already have it. We investigate every report, pursue takedowns with the platform, and refer serious cases to the manufacturer’s brand protection team. If you were misled into buying a counterfeit while trying to buy from us, tell us and we will help you document the case for your bank or the platform, even though the sale was not ours.

Warranty and Authenticity

Our Warranty & Replacement cover applies only to products purchased directly from peaulon.com. We cannot service, warrant or accept a return for a unit bought elsewhere, even if it is the same model, because we have no record of its condition, source or history.

Intellectual Property

The Peaulon name, logo, site design, product photography and written content are our property or are licensed to us. Manufacturer brand names and model names shown on this site are the property of their respective owners and are used to identify the products we sell. Nothing on this site grants permission to reproduce our content or to imply an affiliation that does not exist.
