What Is Covered

  • Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use.
  • Engine and motor failure not caused by fuel, oil or maintenance neglect, including piston, crankshaft, valve and ignition module failures.
  • Transmission, drive belt tensioner, hydrostatic drive and axle failures on ride-on mowers.
  • Pressure washer pump head failure, unloader valve failure and internal seal failure under rated operating conditions.
  • Mower deck cracking, spindle failure and welded frame separation.
  • Electrical faults: wiring harness, ignition switch, safety interlock switches, headlights and starter solenoid.
  • Shed structural defects: panel warping, delamination, roof panel failure, frame deformation and defective factory-drilled holes.
  • Missing or defective hardware in a shed kit or an assembly kit, replaced free within 30 days.
  • Paint or coating failure caused by a manufacturing fault, such as blistering from the factory, as opposed to normal weathering.

What Is Not Covered

  • Normal wear items: blades, belts, air and fuel filters, spark plugs, oil, tyres, cables, grass bags, spray nozzles, lances, hoses, O-rings and quick couplers.
  • Fuel-related damage: stale fuel, fuel left in the tank over winter, water in the fuel, or gasoline containing more than 10% ethanol. Carburetor gumming from old fuel is the single most common non-covered failure we see.
  • Lubrication failure: running an engine without oil, with the wrong grade, or past the service interval. Ride-on mowers ship without oil and it must be added before first start.
  • Pressure washer misuse: running the pump dry, freeze damage, feeding hot water into a cold-water pump, restricting inlet flow below the rated GPM, or chemical damage from unapproved detergents.
  • Commercial, rental or landscaping-business use of equipment rated for residential use. Where a product is rated for commercial use, the rating is stated on its product page.
  • Incorrect assembly or installation, including sheds built on an uneven or undersized foundation or left unanchored.
  • Weather and environment: flood, hail, lightning, wind, snow load beyond the shed’s rated capacity, falling branches, rodent or insect damage, and rust from long-term outdoor storage of equipment.
  • Impact damage: striking rocks, roots, kerbs, fences or buried objects, including a bent crankshaft or damaged deck resulting from impact.
  • Unauthorized repair or modification: non-OEM parts, engine tuning, governor adjustment, safety switch bypass, or a repair by an unauthorized service centre.
  • Cosmetic issues that do not affect function: scratches, minor dents, fading and discolouration.
  • Routine maintenance and consumables: oil changes, blade sharpening, belt replacement, filter cleaning and winterizing.
  • Labour, transport and downtime: local repair labour, loss of use, property damage or any consequential loss.
  • Products purchased anywhere other than peaulon.com, or units with an altered or removed serial number.

How to File a Warranty Claim

  1. Email info@peaulon.com with your order number, the serial number from the data plate, the date the fault appeared, and photos or a short video of the problem.
  2. We acknowledge within 1 business day and a technician runs through diagnostic checks with you by email, phone or chat.
  3. If the fault is covered, we ship the replacement part free of charge, usually within 3 to 5 business days, with fitting instructions or a video walkthrough. Most claims are resolved this way without the equipment leaving your property.
  4. If the part cannot be replaced in the field, we arrange collection and either repair or replace the unit.
  5. If the same covered fault recurs after repair, or the unit fails within 30 days of delivery, we replace the whole unit rather than repairing it again.

Replacement Terms

Replacements are the same model wherever possible. If a model has been discontinued we supply the nearest current equivalent at equal or greater specification, at no extra cost to you. Warranty on a replacement unit or part continues for the remainder of the original warranty period and is not restarted.

Keeping Your Warranty Valid

  • Follow the maintenance schedule in the owner’s manual and keep receipts for oil, filters and parts.
  • Use fresh fuel with no more than 10% ethanol, and add a stabilizer if the unit will sit for more than 30 days.
  • Check the oil level before every use and change it at the stated interval.
  • Drain the pump and store a pressure washer above freezing, or use pump antifreeze.
  • Anchor a shed to a level, full-size foundation as specified in the assembly instructions.

Legal Note

This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable federal or state consumer protection law, including the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Implied warranties, where they cannot be excluded by law, are limited in duration to the length of the written warranty above.
